Introduction

In the realm of high performance memory modules, what name is heard most often? Thats right. It's Corsair!

Famous for their high-speed, low-latency memory modules, Corsair is now out with ultra-low latency PC3200 DDR memory modules! Supporting memory timings of only 2-2-2-5, these new XL memory modules are the new performance leaders in the PC3200 speed grade.

There is no doubt these memory modules will help Corsair score another notch with computer hardware enthusiasts. But specifications aside, just how well will these memory modules perform? Will they live up to expectations; or even exceed them? To find out, we had to test them out ourselves. And test we did!

Today, we will be taking a good look at their ultimate XL memory kit for dual-channel motherboards - the TwinX1024-3200XLPRO dual-channel memory kit!

Although the part number is rather long, Corsair's nomenclature is actually quite easy to decipher :-

TwinX :

1024 :

3200 :
Speed grade of PC3200 (400MHz DDR)
XL :
