Titan Computer Co. has never been one of the companies overclockers think of when it comes to coolers. In fact, most people have never heard of them. If you are one of them, here's the company profile as posted on their website :-

"Titan Computer Co., Ltd., backed by 12 years of manufacturing experience and long-term, in-depth research and development of computer coolers, is already an expert as well as a leader in the field of "Cooler".

Since our foundation 12 years ago, we have grown to embrace a workforce of 120 individuals in our Taipei headquarters & factory, as well as a further 700 employees in our facilities in China."

Today, we will have a look at one of their products that they hope will help them break into the overclocking market - the Titan TTC-CUV1AB copper cooler!

The Titan TTC-CUV1AB

Graphics chip coolers are becoming extremely popular, particularly among those who like to overclock 'everything' in their computer. I actually started overclocking graphics cards long before I ever tried overclocking CPUs. Can you believe that? :-)

Unfortunately, the choice of graphics chip coolers are very limited, compared to CPU coolers. Therefore, I'm happy to see another manufacturer (other than the prolific Thermaltake) stepping up to the challenge of producing graphics card coolers.

The Titan TTC-CUV1AB is a low-profile copper cooler designed to cool graphics chips, although it can be used to cool motherboard chipsets as well. Like many graphics card cooler, it has a low profile suitable for installation in the limited space between expansion slots. As it is too thin to block the adjacent PCI slot, it won't prevent you from using any of your PCI slots.

However, unlike other coolers, the TTC-CUV1AB comes as a complete kit. Everything you need to attach it to your graphics card is included in the kit.

Here's what the kit contains :-

- a copper heat sink
- a 40mm fan
- a 3-4pin power connector
- a syringe of silver thermal compound
- three different metal clips
- various screws and plastic pins
