Braun + Infineon : Suspected COVID-19 Cases Quarantined!

Both B. Braun and Infineon have confirmed that their employees could have been exposed to COVID-19.

Here are the details of both cases, and what B. Braun and Infineon have done to mitigate the risks!

Suspected COVID-19 Cases @ B. Braun

Yesterday, B. Braun issued a notice that two of their employees could have been exposed to COVID-19, but do not exhibit any symptoms.

They have both been quarantined, and their team members placed on Special Leave so they can home quarantine as a precautionary measure.

As B. Braun carries out routine daily disinfection of their clean rooms and common areas, they do not see a need to shut down their facility for sanitisation.

Suspected COVID-19 Cases @ Infineon

Infineon also issued a statement that three of their employees have been identified as potential COVID-19 close contacts of the tabligh gathering in Sri Petaling.

The three Infineon employees have been placed on home quarantine pending their test results. Their colleagues who were in close contact were also placed on home quarantine as a precautionary measure.

However, these Infineon employees do not appear to be working at their Kulim facility, so there is no need to shut it down for sanitisation, as Motorola, Keysight and Agilent have done.
