COVID-19 Success In Malaysia : 15 Discharged, 7 To Go!

The Malaysia Ministry of Health just reported that FOUR more COVID-19 patients have fully recovered and were discharged today and yesterday!

That leaves just 7 more COVID-19 patients in Malaysia, as no new patients have been detected since patients #20, #21 and #22 last week.

 

COVID-19 Success In Malaysia : 15 Discharged, 7 To Go!

The Director General of Health, Malaysia Ministry of Health, Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, announced that two COVID-19 patients – cases #17 and #18 have fully recovered, and were discharged earlier today!

In addition, two other COVID-19 patients – cases #11 and #12 – fully recovered and were discharged yesterday, together with the Chinese couple announced earlier!

This means a full ⅔ of COVID-19 patients in Malaysia have fully recovered to date! MalaysiaBoleh!

COVID-19 Success In Malaysia : 15 Discharged, 7 To Go!

Two (2) more patients have recovered and have been discharged well today.

These two (2) cases:

• Case 17: 65 year-old female, Malaysian, who is the contact of Case 9. She was previously admitted to Sungai Buloh Hospital after confirmed with COVID-19 infection on 9 February 2020.

• Case 18: 31 year-old male, Malaysian, who works in Macao, China. He was previously admitted to Sungai Buloh Hospital after confirmed with COVID-19 infection on 9 February 2020.

Cumulatively, a total of 15 cases have been discharged well from hospitals.

No new COVID-19 case was reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) today.

The total cumulative confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia remains at 22 cases, with seven (7) cases still receiving treatment in hospitals.

COVID-19 : How To Keep Safe!

COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 19) is new and scary, but we are more likely to be infected and killed by the influenza virus.

We just need to practice a few simple steps to stay safe :

  • Avoid suspected cases or disease hotpots, like hospitals, if possible!
  • Keep our hands clean with soap or hand sanitiser
  • Keep our home, office, vehicles, etc. clean
  • If you need to wear a surgical mask, make sure you put it on and remove it properly!
  • Thoroughly cook your food, and boil water before drinking
