COVID-19 Success In Malaysia : 17 Discharged, 5 To Go!

The Malaysia Ministry of Health just reported that TWO more COVID-19 patients have fully recovered and were discharged yesterday!

That leaves just 5 more COVID-19 patients in Malaysia, as no new patients have been detected since patients #20, #21 and #22 last week.

 

COVID-19 Success In Malaysia : 17 Discharged, 5 To Go!

The Director General of Health, Malaysia Ministry of Health, Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, announced that two COVID-19 patients – cases #20 and #21 have fully recovered, and were discharged yesterday!

This means a full 3/4 of COVID-19 patients in Malaysia have fully recovered to date! MalaysiaBoleh!

COVID-19 Success In Malaysia : 17 Discharged, 5 To Go!

20 February 2020 – Two (2) more patients have recovered and have been discharged well yesterday evening.

These two (2) cases:

• Case 20: 27 year-old male, Chinese national, who was confirmed with COVID-19 infection on 14 February 2020.

• Case 21: 32 year-old female, Chinese national, who was confirmed with COVID-19 infection on 14 February 2020

Cumulatively, a total of 17 cases have fully recovered and have been discharged well from hospitals.

No new COVID-19 case was reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) today.

The total cumulative confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia remains at 22 cases, with five (5) cases still receiving treatment in hospitals.

Out of the five (5) cases still admitted:

• Three (3) in Kuala Lumpur Hospital
• One (1) in Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital, Kedah
• One (1) in Sungai Buloh Hospital

COVID-19 : How To Keep Safe!

COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 19) is new and scary, but we are more likely to be infected and killed by the influenza virus.

We just need to practice a few simple steps to stay safe :

  • Avoid suspected cases or disease hotpots, like hospitals, if possible!
  • Keep our hands clean with soap or hand sanitiser
  • Keep our home, office, vehicles, etc. clean
  • If you need to wear a surgical mask, make sure you put it on and remove it properly!
  • Thoroughly cook your food, and boil water before drinking
