Malaysia today recorded 140 new COVID-19 cases and SIX deaths, but also discharged 58 patients who have fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 58 More Patients Recovered!
As of 12 PM today, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another fifty eight (58) patients have fully recovered, and been discharged from hospital.
That means a total of 537 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far!
COVID-19 In Malaysia : 140 New Cases!
They identified 140 new COVID-19 cases today – bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 2766.
They also shared that the number of COVID-19 cases in the ICU held steady at ninety four (94), with two fewer patients requiring respiratory support – sixty (60) at the current count.
Here is the breakdown of cases according to positive diagnoses (blue), full recoveries (green) and death (red).
It shows that despite the number of detected cases exceed 100 every day, it has sort of plateaued.
And here is the breakdown of cases according to their age groups. The vast majority of cases are between 26 and 65 years of age.
COVID-19 In Malaysia : SIX Deaths Today
The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced SIX deaths today, which means a total of 43 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 1.55%.
Death #38 : Case 2,269 is a 48 year-old Malaysian woman who has a history of hypertension. She was a close contact to Case 2,750. She was admitted into Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, Negeri Sembilan on 25 March 2020. She was pronounced dead on 30 March 2020 at 4.04 pm.
Death #39 : Case 2,626 is a 69 year-old Malaysian man who has a history of diabetes and hypertension. He also has a history of travelling to Saudi Arabia. He passed away at home on 27 March 2020 and the body was brought to Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
Death #40 : Case 2,627 is a 69 year-old Malaysian man who has a history of diabetes and hypertension. He was admitted into Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital Johor and was pronounced dead on 26 March 2020 at 1:03 pm.
Death #41 : Case 1,275 is a 40 year-old Indonesian man. He was admitted into Sarawak General Hospital on 20 March 2020 and was pronounced dead on 31 March 2020 at 1.38 am.
Death #42 : Case 2,628 is a 81 year-old Malaysian man who has a history of heart disease. He was admitted into University of Malaya Medical Centre on 27 March 2020 and was pronounced dead on 31 March 2020 at 7:09 am
Death #43 : Case 2,629 is a 73 year-old Malaysian man who has a history of diabetes and heart disease. He was admitted into Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Selangor on 29 March 2020 and was pronounced dead on 30 March 2020 at 4.30 pm.

Day 14 Of Movement Control Order In Malaysia
Today marks the 14th day of the nationwide lockdown on travel, work and business in Malaysia, which has been extended until 14 April, 2020.
The Malaysian government just announced that they will place Menara City One under Enhanced MCO for the next two weeks, from 31 March until 13 April 2020.
This is the third EMCO after Hulu Langat was placed under Enhanced MCO from 30 March until 13 April 2020. And follows the Enhanced MCO on two areas in Simpang Renggam from 27 March until 9 April 2020.

During this time, all government and private offices and businesses will be closed, except those providing essential services.
Although there are no restrictions on travel within Malaysia during this lockdown, you will have nowhere to go, as all shops will be closed, except supermarkets, grocery shops and convenience stores selling essential items.
Schools, colleges, universities, cinemas, and so on, will also be closed. Cafes and restaurants will be closed for dine-in patrons, but you will be able to take-away food, or have them delivered to you.
