Malaysia today recorded 60 new COVID-19 cases and NO death, and discharged 33 patients who have fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 33 More Patients Recovered!
As of 4:30 PM today, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 33 patients have fully recovered, and were discharged today!
That means a total of 5,912 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 82.3%.
COVID-19 In Malaysia : 60 New Cases!
They identified 60 new COVID-19 cases today. This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 7245, with 1185 active cases.
They also shared that the number of COVID-19 cases in the ICU remained at 9, with one fewer patient requiring respiratory support – just 4 at the current count.
Here is the breakdown of cases, according to states. Selangor maintained the highest total at 1,776 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 1,692 cases, and Negeri Sembilan with 792 cases.
COVID-19 In Malaysia : NO Death Today
The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced NO death today, which means a total of 115 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 1.59%.

Day 68 Of Movement Control Order In Malaysia
Today marks the 68th day of the nationwide lockdown on travel, work and business in Malaysia, which was further extended until 9 May, 2020.
It is also the 25th day of the 4th phase of the MCO, and the 20th day of the Conditional MCO (CMCO) which started on 4 May 2020.
Under CMCO, businesses are allowed to reopen, with a new normal of restrictions on social distancing and other measures.

The Malaysian government has so far announced eight Enhanced MCOs :
- 3 Zones In PJ Old Town : 10 May until 23 May 2020
- 6 Parcels In Selayang Baru : 25 April until 3 May 2020
- 8 Parcels In Pusat Bandar Utara : 20 April until 3 May 2020
- Whole Masjid India Area : 14 April until 28 April 2020
- Selangor Mansion + Malayan Mansion : 7 April 2020 indefinitely
- Menara City One : 31 March until 13 April 2020
- Hulu Langat : 30 March until 13 April 2020
- Two areas in Simpang Renggam : 27 March until 9 April 2020
They also announced Semi Enhanced MCO for a section of Chow Kit, some residential areas in Selayang and Pudu.
COVID-19 : How To Keep Safe!
Here are a few simple steps to stay safe from COVID-19 :
- Avoid suspected cases or disease hotpots, like hospitals, if possible!
- Avoid public events and crowds
- Keep our hands clean with soap or hand sanitiser
- Keep our home, office, vehicles, etc. clean
- If you need to wear a surgical mask, make sure you put it on and remove it properly!
