COVID-19 Malaysia : 10,576 Cases, 9666 Healed, 133 Dead

Malaysia today reported 71 new COVID-19 cases but 0 death, and discharged 64 patients who fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 64 More Patients Recovered!

At 5 PM today, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 64 patients fully recovered, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 9,666 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 91.4%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 71 New Cases!

They identified 71 new COVID-19 cases today :

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 10,576, with 777 active cases – an increase of 7 cases, and the 14th day Malaysia has above 500 active cases for the 1st time during the RMCO period.

They also shared that there are two fewer patients in the ICU – 6 cases right now, and no change in patients requiring respiratory support – 2 cases right now.

Here is the breakdown of cases, according to states. Kuala Lumpur is at the top with 2,650 cases, followed by Selangor with 2,220 cases, Sabah with 1,386 cases, and Negeri Sembilan with 1,044 cases.

 

Bangau-Bangau Cluster Update

The Bangau-Bangau Cluster continues to generate new cases. As of 12 PM on 24 September 2020, 47 new cases were detected out of 105 screenings :

COVID-19 In Malaysia : NO Death Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced NO death today, which means a total of 133 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 1.26%.

Day 105 Of COVID-19 RMCO In Malaysia

Today marks the 105th day of the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) which will last until 31 December, 2020.

Under RMCO, most businesses are allowed to reopen, with a new normal of restrictions on social distancing and other measures.

Interstate travel is now allowed (except to Enhanced MCO / administrative restricted areas), as well as many sports facilities.

They also announced Administrative Enhanced MCO for two areas in Banting, a section of Chow Kit, some residential areas in Selayang and Pudu.
