COVID-19 Malaysia : 34393 Cases, 23995 Healed, 263 Dead

Malaysia reported 1054 new COVID-19 cases and 12 deaths today, but discharged 875 patients who fully recovered!

Here are the COVID-19 updates for Malaysia on 3 November 2020…

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 875 Patients Discharged!

At 6 PM today, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 875 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 23,995 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 69.8.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 1054 New Cases!

The surge continues with 1054 new COVID-19 cases!

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states. Sabah is at the top with 16,873 cases, followed by Selangor with 5,179 cases, Kuala Lumpur with 3,092 cases, and Kedah with 2,140 cases.

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 34,393, with 10,135 active cases – an increase of 167 cases, and the 1st day Malaysia went above 10,000 active cases for the second time during the Recovery MCO period.

They also shared that there are 3 additional patients in the ICU – 94 cases right now, and no change in patients requiring respiratory support – 32 cases right now.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : TWELVE Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced TWELVE deaths today, which means a total of 263 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.80%.

Death #252 : Case 29,756 was a 64 year-old Malaysian male, with a history of diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. He passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah.

Death #253 : Case 30,556 was a 58 year-old Malaysian female, with a history of diabetes and asthma. She passed away at the Kudat Hospital in Sabah.

Death #254 : Case 31,417 was a 44 year-old Malaysian female, with a history of hypertension. She passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah.

Death #255 : Case 31,418 was a 14 year-old foreign male, with a history of tuberculosis meningitis and hydrocephalus. He passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah.

Death #256 : Case 33,007 was a 61 year-old foreign female, with a history of diabetes and hypertension. She passed away at the Duchess of Kent Hospital in Sabah.

Death #257 : Case 33,008 was a 25 year-old foreign male, who passed away at the Duchess of Kent Hospital in Sabah.

Death #258 : Case 34,014 was an 82 year-old Malaysian male, who passed away at the Tawau Hospital in Sabah.

Death #259 : Case 34,015 was an 80 year-old Malaysian male, with a history of hypertension, stroke and heart disease. He passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah.

Death #260 : Case 34,016 was an 80 year-old Malaysian female, who passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah.

Death #261 : Case 34,017 was a 70 year-old foreign female, who passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah.

Death #262 : Case 20,237 was a 47 year-old Malaysian female, with a history of diabetes, hypertension and psoriasis. She passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah.

Death #263 : Case 23,339 was a 56 year-old Malaysian male, with a history of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia and heart disease. He passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah.

Day 145 Of COVID-19 RMCO In Malaysia

Today marks the 145th day of the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) which will last until 31 December, 2020.

Under RMCO, most businesses are allowed to reopen, with a new normal of restrictions on social distancing and other measures.

Interstate travel is now allowed (except to Enhanced MCO / administrative restricted areas), as well as many sports facilities.

The Malaysian government has so far announced several Enhanced MCOs :

They also announced Administrative Enhanced MCO for two areas in Banting, a section of Chow Kit, some residential areas in Selayang and Pudu.
