COVID-19 in Malaysia : 319364 Cases, 300620 Discharged, 1200 Dead

Malaysia reported 1647 new COVID-19 cases and 9 deaths, but discharged 2104 patients who fully recovered!

Here are the COVID-19 updates for Malaysia on 11 March 2021…

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 2104 Patients Discharged!

On 11 March 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 2104 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 300,620 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 94.1%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 1647 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 1647 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 319,364, with 17,544 active cases – a big drop of 466 cases.

They also shared that there are 4 fewer patients in the ICU – 147 cases right now, and 11 fewer patients requiring respiratory support – 61 cases right now.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : Cases Breakdown By State

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 107,117 cases, followed by Sabah with 53,736 cases, Johor with 38,729 cases, and Kuala Lumpur with 36,098 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 9 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 9 deaths today. That means a total of 1,200 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.38%.

Death #1192 : Case 209050 was a 58 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease. She passed away at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Perak.

Death #1193 : Case 267640 was a 64 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, stroke and chronic kidney disease. He passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1194 : Case 292849 was a 67 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and stroke. She passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1195 : Case 298748 was a 78 year-old Malaysian male, with history of hypertension and heart disease. He passed away at the Serdang Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1196 : Case 312014 was a 71 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease. He passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1197 : Case 313561 was a 73 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. He passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1198 : Case 314337 was a 75 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes and hypertension. She passed away at the Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital in Johor.

Death #1199 : Case 314949 was a 48 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. She passed away at the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kelantan.

Death #1200 : Case 317110 was a 58 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes. Her body was brought to the Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital in Johor.

 

Day 58 Of CMCO / RMCO 2.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 58th day of the CMCO / RMCO 2.0 which will last until 18 March, 2021.

Under CMCO / RMCO 2.0, inter-district travel is allowed, but not interstate travel. And businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
