COVID-19 in Malaysia : 360856 Cases, 343953 Discharged, 1329 Dead

Malaysia reported 1739 new COVID-19 cases and 8 deaths, but discharged 1216 patients who fully recovered!

Here are the COVID-19 updates for Malaysia on 11 April 2021…

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 1216 Patients Discharged!

On 10 April 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 1216 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 343,953 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 95.3%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 1739 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 1739 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 360,856, with 15,574 active cases – a large increase of 515 cases.

They also shared that there are 11 fewer patients in the ICU – 183 cases right now, and no additional patients requiring respiratory support – 81 cases right now.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : Cases Breakdown By State

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 120,055 cases, followed by Sabah with 55,797 cases, Johor with 42,307 cases, and Kuala Lumpur with 38,865 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 8 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 8 deaths today. That means a total of 1,329 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.37%.

Death #1322 : 76 year-old Malaysian male, with history of hypertension, and chronic lung disease. He passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1323 : 70 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. She passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1324 : 77 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, dyslipidemia, stroke, and chronic lung disease. He passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1325 : 67 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, chronic kidney disease and gout. He passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1326 : 67 year-old Malaysian male, with history of hypertension and asthma. He passed away at the Lahad Datu Hospital in Sabah.

Death #1327 : 78 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension, and stroke. She passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1328 : 69 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and blood-borne disease. She passed away at the KL Hospital.

Death #1329 : 57 year-old Malaysian male, whose body was brought to the Sultan Ismail Hospital in Johor.

 

Day 89 Of CMCO / RMCO 2.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 89th day of the CMCO / RMCO 2.0 which will last until 14 April 2021.

Under CMCO / RMCO 2.0, inter-district travel is allowed, but not interstate travel. And businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
