COVID-19 in Malaysia : 363940 Cases, 346295 Discharged, 1345 Dead

Malaysia reported 1767 new COVID-19 cases and 12 deaths, but discharged 1290 patients who fully recovered!

Here are the COVID-19 updates for Malaysia on 13 April 2021…

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 1290 Patients Discharged!

On 13 April 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 1290 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 346,295 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 95.2%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 1767 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 1767 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 363,940, with 16,300 active cases – an increase of 465 cases.

They also shared that there are 11 additional patients in the ICU – 199 cases right now, and 2 fewer patients requiring respiratory support – 82 cases right now.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : Cases Breakdown By State

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 120,358 cases, followed by Sabah with 55,906 cases, Johor with 42,368 cases, and Kuala Lumpur with 38,981 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 12 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 12 deaths today. That means a total of 1,345 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.37%.

Death #1334 : 74 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia and chronic lung disease. She passed away at the Serdang Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1335 : 66 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia and heart disease. He passed away at the Sibu Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1336 : 85 year-old Malaysian female, with history of hypertension. She passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1337 : 49 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease. He passed away at the KL Hospital.

Death #1338 : 67 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease. She passed away at the Sibu Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1339 : 42 year-old Malaysian male, with history of hypertension, stroke and deep vein thrombosis. He passed away at the Sibu Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1340 : 75 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes and hypertension. Her body was brought to the Tawau Hospital in Sabah.

Death #1341 : 37 year-old Malaysian female, with history of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. She passed away at the Miri Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1342 : 88 year-old Malaysian female, with history of asthma. Her body was brought to the Tawau Hospital in Sabah.

Death #1343 : 81 year-old Malaysian female, with history of hypertension. Her body was brought to the Keningau Hospital in Sabah.

Death #1344 : 76 year-old Malaysian male, whose body was brought to the Tawau Hospital in Sabah.

Death #1345 : 89 year-old Malaysian female, with history of dementia. His body was brought to the Hulu Terengganu Hospital in Terengganu.

 

Day 91 Of CMCO / RMCO 2.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 91st day of the CMCO / RMCO 2.0 which will last until 14 April 2021.

Under CMCO / RMCO 2.0, inter-district travel is allowed, but not interstate travel. And businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
