COVID-19 in Malaysia : 395718 Cases, 369556 Discharged, 1449 Dead

Malaysia reported 2776 new COVID-19 cases and 13 deaths, but discharged 1803 patients who fully recovered!

Here are the COVID-19 updates for Malaysia on 26 April 2021…

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 1803 Patients Discharged!

On 26 April 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 1803 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 369,556 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 93.4%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 2776 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 2776 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 395,718, with 24,713 active cases – an increase of 960 cases.

They also shared that there are 17 additional patients in the ICU – 300 cases right now, and 12 additional patients requiring respiratory support – 133 cases right now.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : Cases Breakdown By State

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 128,773 cases, followed by Sabah with 57,747 cases, Johor with 44,596 cases, and Kuala Lumpur with 42,225 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 13 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 13 deaths today. That means a total of 1,449 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.37%.

Death #1437 : 70 year-old Malaysian male, with history of hypertension, dyslipidemia and heart disease. He passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1438 : 40 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, hypertension and obesity. She passed away at the Ampang Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1439 : 71 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity and chronic kidney disease. She passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1440 : 49 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease. She passed away at the Sarikei Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1441 : 82 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. She passed away at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital in Johor.

Death #1442 : 75 year-old Malaysian male, with history of hypertension. He passed away at the Bintulu Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1443 : 73 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia. She passed away at the Kapit Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1444 : 34 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and obesity. She passed away at the Kapit Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1445 : 61 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes and hypertension. He passed away at the Tawau Hospital in Sabah.

Death #1446 : 59 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. She passed away at the Kapit Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1447 : 32 year-old Malaysian female, with history of obesity and COPD. She passed away at the Kapit Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1448 : 84 year-old Malaysian female, with history of hypertension and heart disease. She passed away at the Tumpat Hospital in Kelantan.

Death #1449 : 38 year-old foreign male, with history of hypertension, dyslipidemia and gout. He passed away at the Tawau Hospital in Sabah.

 

Day 104 Of CMCO / RMCO 2.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 104th day of the CMCO / RMCO 2.0 which will last until 28 April 2021.

Under CMCO / RMCO 2.0, inter-district travel is allowed, but not interstate travel. And businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
