COVID-19 in Malaysia : 401593 Cases, 373397 Discharged, 1477 Dead

Malaysia reported 3142 new COVID-19 cases and 15 deaths, but discharged 1822 patients who fully recovered!

Here are the COVID-19 updates for Malaysia on 28 April 2021…

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 1822 Patients Discharged!

On 28 April 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 1822 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 371,575 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 93.3%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 3142 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 3142 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 401,593, with 26,719 active cases – a massive increase of 1305 cases.

They also shared that there are 12 additional patients in the ICU – 306 cases right now, and 13 additional patients requiring respiratory support – 151 cases right now.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : Cases Breakdown By State

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 130,542 cases, followed by Sabah with 57,916 cases, Johor with 45,010 cases, and Kuala Lumpur with 43,042 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 15 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 15 deaths today. That means a total of 1,477 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.37%.

Death #1463 : 55 year-old Malaysian male, with history of hypertension, dyslipidemia and hypertension. He passed away at the Sibu Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1464 : 81 year-old Malaysian female, with history of hypertension and dyslipidemia. She passed away at the Tawau Hospital in Sabah.

Death #1465 : 30 year-old Malaysian male, with history of hypertension and gout. He passed away at the Bintulu Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1466 : 80 year-old Malaysian female, with history of hypertension and dyslipidemia. She passed away at the Sarawak General Hospital.

Death #1467 : 69 year-old Malaysian male, who passed away at the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kelantan.

Death #1468 : 76 year-old Malaysian male, with history of stroke, gout and chronic kidney disease. He passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1469 : 84 year-old Malaysian male, with history of hypertension. He passed away at the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kelantan.

Death #1470 : 37 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, obesity and asthma. He passed away at the Penang Hospital.

Death #1471 : 77 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes and chronic kidney disease. She passed away at the Sarawak General Hospital.

Death #1472 : 50 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and obesity. She passed away at the Sultan Ismail Hospital in Johor.

Death #1473 : 52 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes and hypertension. His body was brought to the Bintulu Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1474 : 58 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and asthma. She passed away at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Perak.

Death #1475 : 38 year-old Malaysian male, with history of obesity. His body was brought to the Sibu Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1476 : 57 year-old Malaysian male, with history of gout and obesity. He passed away at the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Negeri Sembilan.

Death #1477 : 76 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes and hypertension. She passed away at the Raub Hospital in Pahang.

 

Day 106 Of CMCO / RMCO 2.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 106th day of the CMCO / RMCO 2.0 which will last until 17 May 2021.

Under CMCO / RMCO 2.0, inter-district travel is allowed, but not interstate travel. And businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
