COVID-19 in Malaysia : 404925 Cases, 375340 Discharged, 1492 Dead

Malaysia reported 3332 new COVID-19 cases and 15 deaths, but discharged 1943 patients who fully recovered!

Here are the COVID-19 updates for Malaysia on 29 April 2021…

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 1943 Patients Discharged!

On 29 April 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 1943 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 375,340 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 92.7%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 3332 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 3332 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 404,925, with 28,093 active cases – a massive increase of 1374 cases.

They also shared that there are 3 additional patients in the ICU – 309 cases right now, and 4 fewer patients requiring respiratory support – 147 cases right now.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : Cases Breakdown By State

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 131,625 cases, followed by Sabah with 58,047 cases, Johor with 45,217 cases, and Kuala Lumpur with 43,401 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 15 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 15 deaths today. That means a total of 1,492 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.37%.

Death #1478 : 75 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension, obesity and heart disease. She passed away at the Gleneagles Medini Hospital in Johor.

Death #1479 : 56 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes and dyslipidemia. He passed away at the Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital in Kelantan.

Death #1480 : 46 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease. She passed away at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1481 : 71 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension, stroke, heart disease and chronic kidney disease. She passed away at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1482 : 70 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes and hypertension. She passed away at the USM Hospital in Kelantan.

Death #1483 : 72 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, lung cancer and chronic kidney disease. He passed away at the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kelantan.

Death #1484 : 47 year-old Malaysian female, with history of diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia. She passed away at the Bintulu Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1485 : 91 year-old Malaysian male, with history of hypertension and heart disease. He passed away at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1486 : 75 year-old Malaysian male, with history of diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia. He passed away at the Selayang Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1487 : 73 year-old Malaysian male, with history of  hypertension, dyslipidemia, heart disease and COPD. He passed away at the Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital in KL.

Death #1488 : 49 year-old Malaysian male, whose body was brought to the KL Hospital.

Death #1489 : 47 year-old Malaysian female, whose body was brought to the Selayang Hospital in Selangor.

Death #1490 : 91 year-old Malaysian female, with history of hypertension and stroke. Her body was brought to the Kapit Hospital in Sarawak.

Death #1491 : 82 year-old Malaysian female, with history of hypertension. She passed away at the USM Hospital in Kelantan.

Death #1492 : 26 year-old foreign female, whose passed away at the Tawau Hospital in Sabah.

 

Day 107 Of CMCO / RMCO 2.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 107th day of the CMCO / RMCO 2.0 which will last until 17 May 2021.

Under CMCO / RMCO 2.0, inter-district travel is allowed, but not interstate travel. And businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
