COVID-19 in Malaysia : 533367 Cases, 464727 Discharged, 2432 Dead

Malaysia reported 7478 new COVID-19 cases and 63 deaths, but discharged 4665 patients who fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 4665 Patients Discharged!

On 26 May 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 4665 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 464,727 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 87.1%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 7478 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 7478 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia – the highest record to date!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 533,367, with 66,208 active cases – a whopping increase of 2,750 cases!

They also shared that there are 30 additional patients in the ICU – 756 cases right now, and 4 additional patients requiring respiratory support – 377 cases right now.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : Cases Breakdown By State

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 174,775 cases, followed by Sabah with 61,057 cases, Johor with 55,682 cases, and Kuala Lumpur with 55,471 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 63 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 63 deaths today – the highest daily death toll ever!

That means a total of 2,432 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.46%.

 

Day 15 Of MCO 3.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 15th day of the MCO 3.0 which will last until 7 June 2021.

Under MCO 3.0, inter-district and interstate travel are forbidden, but businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
