COVID-19 in Malaysia : 558534 Cases, 479666 Discharged, 2650 Dead

Malaysia reported 9020 new COVID-19 cases and 98 deaths, but discharged 5527 patients who fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 5527 Patients Discharged!

On 29 May 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 5527 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 479,666 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 85.9%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 9020 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 9020 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia – the highest record to date for the 5th day in a row!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 558,534, with 76,218 active cases – a whopping increase of 3,398 cases!

They also shared that there are 36 additional patients in the ICU – 844 cases right now, and 27 additional patients requiring respiratory support – 430 cases right now.

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 182,338 cases, followed by Sabah with 61,847 cases, Kuala Lumpur with 57,651 cases, and Johor with 57,461 cases.

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 98 deaths today – a new record!

That means a total of 2,650 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.47%.
