COVID-19 in Malaysia : 565533 Cases, 484787 Discharged, 2729 Dead

Malaysia reported 6999 new COVID-19 cases and 79 deaths, but discharged 5121 patients who fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 5121 Patients Discharged!

On 30 May 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 5121 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 484,787 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 85.7%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 6999 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 6999 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 565,533, with 78,017 active cases – a whopping increase of 1,799 cases!

They also shared that there are 2 additional patients in the ICU – 846 cases right now, and 11 fewer patients requiring respiratory support – 419 cases right now.

COVID-19 In Malaysia : Cases Breakdown By State

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 184,815 cases, followed by Sabah with 62,037 cases, Kuala Lumpur with 58,267 cases, and Johor with 57,894 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 79 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 79 deaths today – second highest record!

That means a total of 2,729 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.48%.

 

Day 19 Of MCO 3.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 19th day of the MCO 3.0 which will last until 7 June 2021.

Under MCO 3.0, inter-district and interstate travel are forbidden, but businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
