COVID-19 in Malaysia : 627652 Cases, 541319 Discharged, 3536 Dead

Malaysia reported 5566 new COVID-19 cases and 76 deaths, but discharged 6962 patients who fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 6962 Patients Discharged!

On 6 June 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 7548 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 541,319 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 86.3%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 5566 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 5566 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 627,652, with 82,797 active cases – a massive drop of 1,472 cases!

They also shared that there is 1 additional patient in the ICU – 903 cases right now, but 11 additional patients requiring respiratory support – 458 cases right now.

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 205,044 cases, followed by Sabah with 64,556 cases, Kuala Lumpur with 63,838 cases, and Johor with 62,354 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 76 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 76 deaths today!

That means a total of 3,536 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.56%.

 

Day 28 Of MCO 3.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 28th day of the MCO 3.0 which will last until 14 June 2021.

Under MCO 3.0, inter-district and interstate travel are forbidden, but businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
