Malaysia reported 4949 new COVID-19 cases and 60 deaths, but discharged 6588 patients who fully recovered!

Here are the COVID-19 updates for Malaysia on 14 June 2021…

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 6588 Patients Discharged!

On 14 June 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 6588 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 586,864 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 88.6%.

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 4949 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 4949 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 662,457, with 71,625 active cases – a huge drop of 1,699 cases!

They also shared that there are 4 additional patients in the ICU – 921 cases right now, but 7 additional patients requiring respiratory support – 459 cases right now.

Selangor is at the top with 216,481 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 67,719 cases, Sabah with 66,316 cases, and Johor with 65,069 cases.

That means a total of 3,968 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.60%.
