COVID-19 in Malaysia : 685204 Cases, 615326 Discharged, 4276 Dead

Malaysia reported 6440 new COVID-19 cases and 74 deaths, but discharged 6861 patients who fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 6861 Patients Discharged!

On 18 June 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 6861 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 615,326 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 89.8%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 6440 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 6440 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 685,204, with 65,602 active cases – a big drop of 495 cases!

They also shared that there are 30 fewer patients in the ICU – 894 cases right now, but 10 additional patients requiring respiratory support – 451 cases right now.

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 224,344 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 70,306 cases, Sabah with 67,177 cases, and Johor with 66,868 cases.
