COVID-19 in Malaysia : 716847 Cases, 650964 Discharged, 4721 Dead

Malaysia reported 5841 new COVID-19 cases and 84 deaths, but discharged 5411 patients who fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 5411 Patients Discharged!

On 24 June 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 5411 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 650,964 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 90.8%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 5841 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 5841 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 716,847, with 61,162 active cases – an increase of 346 cases!

They also shared that there are 10 fewer patients in the ICU – 869 cases right now, but 5 additional patients requiring respiratory support – 438 cases right now.

COVID-19 In Malaysia : Cases Breakdown By State

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 235,120 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 73,196 cases, Johor with 69,174 cases, and Sabah with 68,232 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 84 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 84 deaths today!

That means a total of 4,721 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.66%.

 

Day 44 Of MCO 3.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 44th day of the MCO 3.0 which will last until 28 June 2021.

Under MCO 3.0, inter-district and interstate travel are forbidden, but businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
