COVID-19 in Malaysia : 792693 Cases, 714815 Discharged, 5677 Dead

Malaysia reported 7654 new COVID-19 cases and 103 deaths, but discharged 4797 patients who fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 4797 Patients Discharged!

On 6 July 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 4797 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 714,815 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 90.2%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 7654 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 7654 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 792,693, with 72,201 active cases – a massive increase of 2,754 cases!

They also shared that there are 20 additional patients in the ICU – 943 cases right now, and 17 additional patients requiring respiratory support – 450 cases right now.

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 265,722 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 82,904 cases, Johor with 73,162 cases, and Sabah with 70,945 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 103 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 103 deaths today!

That means a total of 5,677 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.72%.

 

Day 56 Of MCO 3.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 56th day of the MCO 3.0 which will last indefinitely.

Under MCO 3.0, inter-district and interstate travel are forbidden, but businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
