COVID-19 in Malaysia : 799790 Cases, 719678 Discharged, 5768 Dead

Malaysia reported 7097 new COVID-19 cases and 91 deaths, but discharged 4863 patients who fully recovered!

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 4863 Patients Discharged!

On 7 July 2021, the Malaysia Ministry of Health announced that another 4863 patients fully recovered from COVID-19, and were discharged today!

That means a total of 719,678 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in Malaysia so far! That’s a recovery rate of 90.0%.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 7097 New Cases!

The third wave continues with 7097 new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia!

This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 799,790, with 74,344 active cases – a massive increase of 2,143 cases!

They also shared that there are 5 additional patients in the ICU – 948 cases right now, but 9 fewer patients requiring respiratory support – 441 cases right now.

Here is the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, according to states.

Selangor is at the top with 268,841 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 83,909 cases, Johor with 73,386 cases, and Sabah with 71,189 cases.

 

COVID-19 In Malaysia : 91 Deaths Today

The Malaysia Ministry of Health announced 91 deaths today!

That means a total of 5,768 people have died from COVID-19 in Malaysia – a mortality rate of 0.72%.

 

Day 57 Of MCO 3.0 In Malaysia

Today marks the 57th day of the MCO 3.0 which will last indefinitely.

Under MCO 3.0, inter-district and interstate travel are forbidden, but businesses are allowed to operate, subject to SOP.
