SJKC Puay Chai 2 Gets Sanitised As Precaution

SJKC Puay Chai 2 in Bandar Utama, was informed that a family member of one of their Year One student was tested positive for COVID-19 on 11 March 2020.

That family member has already been placed under quarantine at the Sungai Buloh Hospital, and the student as well as the rest of the family were asked to self-quarantine as a precaution.

As advised by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, they will sanitise the classroom of the student, as well as the LG floor of the school’s common area before the morning session commences.

To be clear – no student at SJKC Puay Chai 2 has tested positive for COVID-19.

 

SJKC Puay Chai 2 Student Tested Negative For COVID-19!

On 12 March 2020, SJKC Puay Chai 2 announced that the Year One student tested negative for COVID-19.

However, the student remains under home quarantine as a precautionary measure.

COVID-19 Notice – SJKC Puay Chai 2 Bandar Utama (PC2)

Dear PC2 Parents, Teachers, and cleaners/workers/guards/visitors,

We have been made known that one of our Year One (1) student’s family member has been tested positive with COVID-19 as at earlier today and has been requested to be placed under quarantine at the Sungai Buloh Hospital quarantine centre as part of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

We have immediately reported the matter to the Ministry of Health as well as the Ministry of Education. We were advised to voluntarily sanitize and disinfect the Year One (1) classroom as well as the LG floor of the school common area.

Do note that the student’s family member was not down ill and has not shown any symptoms of fever, flu, cough, running nose, but due to the contact with an earlier cluster case, the person has been tracked down by the Ministry of Health officers to take the test. The student and the rest of the family members have been requested to be put on self-quarantine as a precaution.

The sanitizing and disinfecting of the affected classroom and LG floor common area will be carried out immediately before tomorrow’s PC2 school morning session commences.

Kindly take note that NO health hazardous warning or procedure were issued by the Ministry of Health and/or the Ministry of Education. The above sanitizing and disinfecting exercises are purely precautionary and initiated voluntarily by PC2 school and PIBG.

We wish to take this opportunity to advise all PC2 stakeholders to observe your own body temperature and personal hygiene. Stay home if you feel unwell and should you develop high body temperature or display any symptoms of COVID-19, please DO NOT enter the PC2 school area, and seek medical attention immediately.

Your cooperation is required to ensure PC2 school is free of COVID-19. We will update parents if there is any latest development .
