Despite the huge losses suffered by the hotel, the management of Hotel Equatorial Penang will pay severance benefits to their staff, who will all remain employed until 31 March 2021.

Sadly, Penang is currently under MCO and it is unlikely you will have the opportunity for a last stay at the hotel, as it appears they plan to close the hotel to the public before 31 March 2021.
