Claim : Frank Csorba Died From COVID-19 Vaccine / Suicide!

Right after news broke that Frank Csorba died suddenly after winning the NCAA Division III national championship last month, some people immediately claimed or suggested that the University of Lynchburg student and star runner was somehow killed by the COVID-19 vaccine!

Andrew Bridgen MP : “What next for the future?” University of Lynchburg athlete Frank Csorba talks in this heartbreaking video recorded one month ago about his plans, shortly after helping bring a national track and field title home.

Now he’s dead. Cause of death has not been released. His university mandated Covid 19 vaccinations in 2021. #diedsuddenly (April 2024)

On the other hand, discussion in the Let’s Run forum have suggested that Frank Csorba committed suicide. In fact, the administrator of the Let’s Run forum appeared to confirm that (archive):

We apologize that this thread wasn’t moderated more timely.

Because a cause of death wasn’t mentioned, many people speculated it was somehow related to the vaccine and those were deleted and then people complained about the moderation. We have moved to moderation moving forward.

It appears he took his own life. Moving forward, we are requiring registration to post in this thread. If we are wrong about the cause of death, please email us at [email protected].

Truth : Frank Csorba Did Not Die From COVID-19 Vaccine / Suicide!

This is yet another example of fake news circulating on social media and forums, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Frank Csorba Died From Accidental Shooting!

Frank Csorba (born Francis Lawrence Csorba on 12 December 2000) was a graduate student studying public health, and a star runner, at the University of Lynchburg.

Together with the school’s distance medley relay team consisting of Jacob Hodnett, Sam Llaneza, and Chasen Hunt, Frank Csorba won the NCA Division III national championship in early March, completing it at 9:47.17.

On 2 March 2024, Frank Csorba was named Division III athlete of the week by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association – the first male from the ODAC  (Old Dominion Athletic Conference) to ever win the award.

Unfortunately, Frank Csorba unexpectedly died on Tuesday, 23 April 2024. The University of Lynchburg distance program announced his death on Instagram:

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, teammate, and friend Frank Csorba.

Since his first steps on campus, Frank was a light to so many, epitomizing the power of joy in the journey. Through the years, he lifted others to reach the impossible and smiled with every run. As a champion, warrior, and leader, he fought persistently to continue battling for his team. While we knew and loved our groundbreaking, record-setting national champion, we treasure the beautiful memories we have shared with our brother.

We wish our condolences to the Csorba family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing this young man. Please respect the family’s privacy and thoughts during this time of grief.

His funeral was held at 2 PM on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the chapel; of Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, with burial in the family cemetery. Frank Csorba was 23 years old when he died. A GoFundMe was setup to help his family pay for funeral expenses.

On Saturday, 27 April 2024, his mother, Jessica Csorba, revealed that Frank died from an accidental shooting while cleaning his gun, after using it at a shooting range.

So the rumor mill has started that my son Frank Csorba took his own life. That is NOT true he died from an Accidental shooting while cleaning his gun after using it at a shooting Range. My son had way to much to live for and life full of goals to achieve. This is a tragedy and anyone that want tarnish my son’s legacy please have the day you deserve!!

Did those people – complete strangers at that, who confidently claimed or suggested that Frank Csorba died from the COVID-19 vaccine, or suicide, apologise??? Nope.

Fact #2 : His Teammate Dismissed Vaccine Death Rumour

On 24 April 2024, PeterMor, who identified himself as a teammate and a close friend of Frank Csorba dismissed rumours (archive) that he died from the COVID-19 vaccine.

Teammate and close friend here. Stop this bs about vax deaths and rumors, let him rest. He was an amazing leader, kind friend, and would go to bat for anyone he knew. Took me under his wing personally my freshman year, taught me how to leave it all on the line and put 200% into everything I did.

Needless to say, those who claimed that Frank Csorba died from the COVID-19 vaccine never provided any evidence to back up their claims.

Fact #3 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear With Hours / Days

Needless to say, COVID-19 vaccines cannot cause accidental shootings. But on the off-chance someone out there claims his accidental shooting may have been precipitated by some kind of vaccine side effect, that’s just not realistic.

Due to University of Lynchburg policy, Frank Csorba was likely fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 2-3 years ago. He cannot possibly have suffered from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not months later.

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination. Anaphylaxis develops within minutes, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis and VITT develop within days or weeks.

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months. If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.

Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.
