Peeking Inside The Sight Silver, Included Freebies

We took the opportunity to remove the backplate to look inside the IPRO Sight Silver smartphone. Under the back cover, you will find the 2800 mAh lithium-ion battery taking up most of the space.

The Sight Silver engineering sample used a smaller capacity 2500 mAh battery, but they managed to squeeze in a 2800 mAh lithium-ion battery for the production model. Curiously, the model number EB-L1G6LLU refers to the Samsung 2100 mAh lithium-ion battery used in the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone. We have no idea if they used the same battery design with an improved capacity, or this is really a repackaged Samsung 2100 mAh battery…

The battery blocks access to the two SIM card slots, so you will need to remove it to insert or remove your SIM cards. You will find the micro SD card slot. It’s marked T, which is short for TF (TransFlash), the old name for micro SD.

 

Included Freebies

If the low price of RM 799 (~USD 209) is not enticing enough, each IPRO Sight Silver smartphone will come with a soft back cover and a tempered glass screen protector. The soft cover is translucent so it will allow you to show off the case colour. It is natural for IPRO to include the case cover because it would be impossible to find a third-party case cover to fit the Sight Silver.

The IPRO Sight Silver smartphone actually comes with a plastic screen protector installed by default. However, we highly recommend you install the free tempered glass screen protector because the display lacks any tough Gorilla Glass kind of protection. Just remember to remove that plastic screen protector before installing the tempered glass screen protector.
