DBKL recently shut down a fish processing factory in the Kepong Commercial Park.

Fish Processing Factory In Kepong Shut Down!

On 26 January 2021, the DBKL Health & Environment Department inspected a fish processing factory at Jalan 4/33 B MWE in the Kepong Commercial Park.

They discovered that this fish processing factory was unhygienic, shutting it down under Section 11 of the Food Act 1983, based on these reasons :

  • the premises were unsanitary
  • the walls and floors were untiled and covered in moss
  • the walls and floors in the food processing area were covered in dirt and dried blood
  • the fish were processed on the floor
  • there was no oil trap
  • fish blood and waste water were poured into the public drain
  • equipment used were filthy and improperly maintained

TUTUP SEBAB KOTOR

Bahagian Kesihatan Persekitaran, Jabatan Kesihatan & Alam Sekitar DBKL hari ini, 26 Januari 2021 bertindak menutup sebuah premis memproses ikan dan makanan eksotik.

Premis yang beroperasi di Jalan 4/33B MWE, Kepong Commercial Park, KL didapati berada dalam keadaan tidak bersih dan pengendalian makanan juga tidak mengikut piawaian.

Pemeriksaan mendapati premis dalam keadaan kotor, lantai dan dinding keseluruhan kawasan penyediaan makanan berdaki hitam dengan sisa darah pekat yang kering. Lantai dan dinding diperbuat daripada simen konkrit sahaja dan tidak dilapisi jubin dan dipenuhi lumut hijau

Semua aktiviti menyedia / menyiang / memotong ikan dijalankan diatas lantai tanpa menyediakan alas pelapik.
Premis juga tidak mempunyai perangkap minyak dan semua air cucian / air limbah termasuk sisa ikan /darah daripada aktiviti memotong / menyiang ikan dialirkan terus masuk ke dalam longkang awam.

Premis hanya meletak bakul sebagai penapis di bahagian outlet sebelum masuk ke longkang awam.
Perkakas / peralatan / mesin yang digunakan dalam penyediaan makanan tidak dijaga bersih, tidak diselenggara dengan baik dan dalam keadaan kotor berdaki.

Secara keseluruhannya, premis gagal mematuhi semua kehendak kesihatan yang ditetapkan sebagai premis yang menjalankan perniagaan menyedia / memproses makanan.

Sehubungan itu, Notis Perintah Penutupan di bawah Seksyen 11 Akta Makanan 1983 kuatkuasa 27 Januari 2021 telah dikeluarkan.

Pemantauan terhadap premis-premis seumpama ini dilaksanakan secara berterusan oleh DBKL.
