Klang, Sandakan, Papar + Tuaran : Lock Down On 9 October!

The Malaysian government just announced a CMCO lockdown of Klang in Selangor, as well as Sandakan, Papar and Tuaran in Sabah!

Here is what you need to know about the lockdown that will kick off on 9 October 2020!

 

Klang, Sandakan, Papar + Tuaran : Lock Down On 9 October!

Even though many areas in Sabah are already under Administrative EMCO and Conditional MCO, the number of COVID-19 cases continue to rack up.

With new cases hitting a record high of 691 cases yesterday and 489 cases today, the Malaysian government announced that they will impose a Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) on Klang in Selangor, as well as Sandakan, Papar and Tuaran in Sabah.

 

Klang, Sandakan, Papar + Tuaran : Lock Down Restrictions

Beginning at 12:01 AM on 9 October 2020, the CMCO will impose these more restrictive conditions on Klang, Sandakan, Papar and Tuaran :

The police, army, civil defence forces and RELA will be deployed to enforce the CMCO in these areas, as well as the CMCO of Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, Putatan.

But unlike the CMCO of Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, Putatan, this CMCO in Klang, Sandakan, Papar and Tuaran will last for 14 days.
