Pos Malaysia just suspended road tax renewal at all post offices nationwide until April 2021!

Pos Malaysia : No Road Tax Renewal Until April 2021!

On 22 February 2021, Pos Malaysia announced that they were instructed by JPJ (Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan) to temporarily suspend road tax renewal (Lesen Kenderaan Motor) at all post offices nationwide.

From 23 February until 31 March 2021, Pos Malaysia will no longer process road tax renewals at all post offices nationwide.

Pos Malaysia will continue to offer all other services at all post offices nationwide, including driving licence and vehicle insurance renewals.

There is no need to worry about losing your ability to drive, or getting a compound for driving without a valid road tax.

The Ministry of Transport has already exempted road tax and driver licence renewal during MCO 2.0. So you can drive your vehicles as long as you have valid insurance for them.
