SJKC Puay Chai 2 in Bandar Utama just announced that two more classes will be closed, after two students in those classes tested positive for COVID-19!

SJKC Puay Chai 2 : 2 More Classes Closed After COVID-19 Cases!
On 7 April 2021, SJKC Puay Chai 2 in Bandar Utama announced that a student in the 2M class tested positive for COVID-19.
Two days later, they announced that another two students in the 2U and 5B classes also tested positive for COVID—19. They too were infected from outside the school.
After reporting the case to the District Health Office, they were ordered to close the 2U and 5B classes, and the students and teachers quarantined at home, for 10 days.
The other classes in Puay Chai 2 will proceed as normal.
Puay Chai 2 also stated that they are sanitising the classes every day. A year ago, they shared these pictures and videos of how they sanitise their classrooms after a positive COVID-19 case.

Here is the official statement by SJKC Puay Chai 2 (in Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia) on their students who tested positive for COVID-19 :

学校简讯
仅此通知，今天（07-4-2021）本校一名 2M 班学生进行新冠肺炎快速检测呈阳性。该名学生是通过家人传染。校方已马上通知卫生局和县教育局，并将有关详细报告呈交卫生局。校方根据卫生局的指示，2M班学生与有关的教职员需进行居家隔离，直到该名学生获得第二次筛检结果。校方也会依据卫生局再做进一步的指示。其他班级，如常上课。
校方也在第一时间进行消毒工作，除此以外，每一天放学后，每一间课室和校园都进行消毒。校方严格遵守所定的标准作业程序，卫生局也会跟进有关确诊事件。倘若该班级的家长们不安心，可以自行带孩子进行冠病检测。

PENGUMUMAN SEKOLAH
Dua orang murid dari kelas 2 U dan 5 B telah disahkan positif Covid-19 dalam PCR test pada 9.04.2021. Kedua-dua murid yang berkenaan dijangkiti melalui pihak luar. Pihak sekolah telah melaporkan kes ini kepada Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah (PKD) dan Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah.
Pihak sekolah telah mengikuti arahan daripada Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah (PKD) agar mengarahkan murid-murid dan guru-guru kelas yang berkenanan dikuarantin di rumah masing-masing selama 10 hari. Kelas – kelas lain akan menjalankan pengajaran dan pembelajaran bersemuka seperti biasa.
Untuk makluman semua, pihak sekolah menjalankan sanitasi di setiap kelas pada setiap hari persekolahan. Pihak sekolah telah mematuhi segala SOP yang ditetapkan.Sekiranya ibubapa kelas tersebut berasa bimbang dan risau, sila membawa anak menjalani TEST.
