Restoran 9999 Closed After COVID-19 Case!

Restoran 9999 in Damansara Perdana will be closed from tomorrow onwards after an employee tested positive for COVID-19!

The affected employee worked for Jxon’s Fried Chicken stall in Restoran 9999.

The owner – Jason Chan – announced that Restoran 9999 will be closed from 30 July 2021 until further notice, pending the COVID-19 test results of their employees, and the sanitisation of his restaurant.

He also advised all customers who came to his restaurant recently to get tested for COVID-19.

Restoran 9999 COVID-19 Case : What’s The Risk?

Anyone who visited Restoran 9999 on or before 29 July 2021, should be wary and self-quarantine if possible.

The risk will be low if both the affected employee and all customers wore face masks, and maintained physical distance.

The Ministry of Health will be conducting contact tracing for all positive cases, and those identified as close contacts will be asked to self-quarantine and get tested.

Let this be a reminder why it is critical that you wear a face mask in public at all times – they greatly reduce the risk of infection.

You should also maintain good hand hygiene by cleaning with soap and water, or a hand sanitiser.

COVID-19 is easily destroyed by soap, so even a simple cleaning operation will definitely clean the restaurant of any infectious particles, albeit only temporarily.
