Truth : Taylor Swift Is Not Performing Satanic Rituals At Era Tour!

This is yet another example of fake news created / promoted by The People’s Voice, and here are the reasons why…

Fact #1 : Shane Lynch Provided No Evidence

Let me start by pointing out that Shane Lynch, who was formerly a member of Boyzone, did indeed claim that Taylor Swift was performing “Satanic rituals” at her Eras Tour concerts.

I think when you’re looking at a lot of the artists out there, a lot of their stage shows are Satanic rituals live in front of 20,000 people without them realising and recognising. You’ll see a lot of hoods up and masks on and fire ceremonies.

Even down to Taylor Swift – one of the biggest artists in the world – you watch one of her shows and she has two or three different demonic rituals to do with the pentagrams on the ground, to do with all sorts of stuff on her stage. But to a lot of people it’s just art and that’s how people are seeing it, unfortunately.

However, Shane Lynch provided no evidence to back up his claims that Taylor Swift was performing two or three different “demonic rituals” at her Eras Tour concerts.

Wearing hoods or masks isn’t Satanic, neither are “fire ceremonies”, whatever those are. There is also no evidence of any pentagram on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stage at any venue.

Fact #2 : Devil’s Horns Are Not Satanic

The People’s Voice article called “the sign of the horns” a Satanic symbol. That’s not true.

The hand gesture that Taylor Swift flashed (and so did Ice Spice at the Super Bowl) is also referred to as “devil’s horns”. However, it is not demonic or Satanic. In fact, several cultures use it to ward off evil spirits!

It was popularised by Ronnie James Dio of the heavy metal band, Heaven & Hell and the rock band Black Sabbath, who copied it from his Italian grandmother who often used it. In the Italian culture, the sign of the horns is a protective gesture like the pentagram. Called el corna, it is used traditionally to ward off the “evil eye” (mallocio).

It’s not the devil’s sign like we’re here with the devil. … It’s to ward off the Evil Eye or to give the Evil Eye, depending on which way you do it. So it’s a bit like “knocking on wood.”

The sign of the horns is also used by Hindus and Buddhists. The hand gesture is called “Karana Mudrā“, and is used to “expel demons” and remove “sickness or negative thoughts“. So the showing the sign of the horns is actually the OPPOSITE of worshipping Satan or evil spirits.

In modern times, the devil’s horns / sign of the horns has become a common rock ‘n’ roll gesture, and a mainstream way of saying, “Hell, yeah!“, or “Rock on!

Fact #3 : The People’s Voice Is Known For Fake News

The People’s Voice is the current name for NewsPunch, which possibly changed its name because its brand has been so thoroughly discredited after posting numerous shocking but fake stories.

Founded as Your News Wire in 2014, it was rebranded as NewsPunch in November 2018, before becoming The People’s Voice. A 2017 BuzzFeed report identified NewsPunch as the second-largest source of popular fake news on Facebook that year.

Its articles have been regularly debunked as fake news, so you should never share anything from NewsPunch / The People’s Voice.  Here are some of its fake stories that I fact checked earlier:
