They will need to undergo three screening tests during the 5-day mandatory quarantine :
- RT-PCR test within 2 days prior to departure, with a negative test result
- RT-PCR test on the day of arrival
- RT-PCR test on Day 4, or

C. Unvaccinated or Not Fully Vaccinated

Travellers to Malaysia who are not fully-vaccinated or unvaccinated, will be required to undergo a mandatory quarantine of 10 days.

D. Travellers With Recent COVID-19 Infection
Travellers who recently recovered from COVID-19 infection are NOT required to undergo a mandatory quarantine, subject to these requirements :
- must be fully-vaccinated, with proof of vaccination
- proof of COVID-19 infection within 11-60 days prior to departure, using printed or digital test results
- travellers with history of hospitalisation from COVID-19 must produce a “Fit to Travel” letter from the hospital
- travellers who were not hospitalised must undergo a professional RTK-Ag test two days before departure, and are only allowed to fly with a negative test result
Travellers who recovered from a COVID-19 infection but are not fully vaccinated, or unvaccinated, must undergo a mandatory 7-day quarantine.
